This event weakened Ravana's forces and played a crucial role in the ultimate victory of Lord Rama.

His timely arrival helped revive Lakshmana and contributed to the triumph of good over evil.
Devotion to Lord Rama: Hanuman Ji's unwavering devotion to Lord Rama is a recurring theme in his stories. Hanuman Ji flew towards the sun, intending to capture and consume it. As he approached the sun, Lord Indra, the ruler of the gods, noticed Hanuman Ji's intentions and became alarmed. Indra summoned his thunderbolt, Vajra, and hurled it at Hanuman Ji.
The thunderbolt struck Hanuman Ji on the jaw, causing him to fall back to Earth. Hanuman Ji's chin was injured, and he became unconscious. However, Hanuman Ji's divine powers prevented the thunderbolt from causing any serious harm. Instead, his chin turned black due to the impact.
When Hanuman Ji regained consciousness, he realized what had happened. Lord Indra, realizing his mistake, approached Hanuman Ji and apologized for his actions. Hanuman Ji, in his usual humble manner, accepted the apology and forgave Indra.
